Former Rangers captain Barry Ferguson has been appointed as manager of Scottish Lowland League club Kelty Hearts.
The club, currently top of the Lowland League, which is the fifth tier of Scottish football, also announced that Ferguson's ex-Ibrox team-mate Bob Malcolm will serve as his assistant.
The former Scotland skipper is set to start his new role on October 23, which means he will not oversee Kelty's Scottish Cup second round clash with League Two side Peterhead this weekend.
"Kelty Hearts Football Club are delighted to announce Barry Ferguson as our new first team manager," a club statement said.
"Barry will start fully on Tuesday where he will take his first training sessions. He will be assisted by Bob Malcolm, Murray McDowell and Dave McNeely.

"A big thanks must go to Murray, Dave and the senior players for taking the team the last seven days. They will continue to do so tonight and for Saturday's big match."
After a brief spell as caretaker boss at Blackpool in 2014 Ferguson took over at Clyde where he led them to the play-off final in his second season in charge.
However, he resigned as manager of the League Two side in February 2017.
Ferguson won five top-flight titles and five Scottish Cups over two spells with Rangers, as well as the League Cup with Birmingham. He also played 45 times for Scotland.
At the end of the season the champions of the Lowland and Highland Leagues enter into a play-off, with the winner taking on the bottom club in League Two for a place in the Scottish Professional Football League.
