Dundee lose Kenny Miller appeal over Rangers red

Dundee have lost an appeal against the red card Kenny Miller received against his former club Rangers.
Miller, back at Ibrox for the first time since his bitter Gers departure as he skippered Dundee, was sent off for a foul on full-back Borna Barisic.
The veteran striker had already received a yellow card for a challenge on Andy Halliday, which left his former team-mate with a broken nose.
Dundee said they were "disappointed" with the outcome of their appeal, which now sees Miller banned for their next two matches - against Hibernian and Hamilton.
Neil McCann had insisted Miller's challenge was fair and that only the player's momentum had caused him to make contact with Barisic.
"He absolutely got the ball," said the Dundee boss.
Scottish football's disciplinary process has come in for criticism this season from Celtic's Craig Gordon and Aberdeen over a rejected appeal against Michael Devlin's red card.
Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has also criticised the standard of officiating in Scotland this season.
