Luton are still without defender Dan Potts and midfielder Nathan Doyle for their home game against Portsmouth in Sky Bet League Two this weekend.
The pair have both been sidelined with hamstring injuries but are making good progress and could be back in around 10 days.
Welsh midfielder Alex Lawless should be available after missing Tuesday's eventful Capital One Cup tie against Premier League Stoke through illness, but new loan signing Oliver Lee will sit out after playing all 120 minutes.
Defender Magnus Okuonghae is nearing full fitness and will step up his recovery by playing for development squad next week.
Pompey, unbeaten in the league, will hope to get back to winning ways after successive draws were followed by a first loss of the season against Reading in the cup in midweek.
