Winger Will Hayhurst has extended his loan stay with York until the end of the season.
Hayhurst, 20, arrived at Bootham Crescent from Preston at the end of January for an initial month and has made six appearances for Nigel Worthington's side. Worthington said: "I'm delighted to get it sorted out. "Preston have been very good on their side of it in allowing Will to stay with us, and the lad is very happy to stay. "It gives us another experienced player within the group who is doing quite nicely for us at this moment and hopefully right through to the end of the season, barring any injury situation with Preston. So, it's good news." Hayhurst, who came through the ranks at Deepdale, has made 43 first-team appearances for Preston since making his debut as an 18-year-old against Charlton in April 2012.
