Silkmen make mystery man deal

Macclesfield have agreed terms with an unnamed full-back to replace Morecambe-bound Izak Reid.
The young League Two player is expected to sign in the coming days when he will then be formally unveiled. Town boss Gary Simpson said he was delighted to replace Reid before pre-season training begins. "With Izak having signed for Morecambe we wanted to move quickly. We've been following this lad for a while now and he'll be a welcome addition to the squad," he told the club's website.
