Yeovil Town fell to a sixth Sky Bet League Two defeat on the spin to heap more agony on boss Darren Way as Forest Green eased to a 3-0 victory.

Forest Green striker Junior Mondal scored his first goal on his full league debut since his January move from non-league Whitby Town.

Christian Doidge added a second and captain Lee Collins grabbed a third after the break as Mark Cooper's side got their automatic promotion ambitions back on track.

Rovers opened the scoring after 22 minutes when Reece Brown and Paul Digby combined for the ball to drop to Mondal who stabbed beyond Nathan Baxter.

Rovers were completely on the front foot and made it 2-0 just 10 minutes later as Doidge flicked in at the near post from George Williams' pin-point corner.

On the stroke of half-time, Yeovil sparked into life. Lewis Ward had to be alert to tip over an Alex Dobre strike.

The Glovers came even closer when Jake Gray rattled the crossbar after Francois Zoko saw his shot parried by Ward.
