Brentford transfer bid for Coventry's Ben Stevenson, Sky sources understand

Brentford have made an transfer offer for Coventry City midfielder Ben Stevenson, according to Sky sources.
The Bees are keen to strengthen four positions this month, including a new defensive midfielder.
Stevenson is only 19 but has made 22 appearances since his debut for Coventry last August, scoring twice.
He is a product of Coventry's academy and has impressed in a holding-midfield role this term.
Sky sources understand Brentford also want to land a young right-back, a winger and another striker in the January window.
They saw on-loan Sullay Kaikai recalled by Crystal Palace manager Sam Allardyce on Monday.
