Rotherham manager Steve Evans has revealed he tried to sign trialist Kieran Agard while he was in charge of Crawley.
The 22-year-old former Everton striker netted the winner for the Millers in their pre-season clash with Doncaster on Tuesday, as he looks to earn a contract with the club. And Evans told BBC Radio Sheffield that the striker has impressed him. "I tried to sign him for Crawley last year when he went to Yeovil and I tried getting him a couple of months ago," he said. "We're down to the fine tuning stage now but Kieran is the kind of player who we would be interested in bringing to the club."
