Josh Wright has agreed to join Bradford on a two-year deal, according to Sky sources.
The midfielder is currently a free agent after seeing out his contract at Southend.
Sky Sports News understands a number of Football League clubs had shown an interest in Wright, but he has decided to join the Bantams.
The 28-year-old scored two goals in 30 appearances for Southend last season.
Prior to his move to Southend, Wright enjoyed an excellent 2016/17 campaign, scoring 14 times in all competitions for Gillingham after being deployed in an attacking midfield role for the first time in his career.
Wright has previously made 119 appearances at Championship level for Charlton, Scunthorpe and Millwall.
