Crewe 0-3 Swindon: Town cruise to victory
Saturday 23 December 2017 19:15, UK
First-half goals from Kaiyne Woolery, Amine Linganzi and Luke Norris saw Swindon end a run of three Sky Bet League Two defeats as they coasted to a 3-0 win at Crewe.
Swindon made the most of the space offered by the struggling Railwaymen early on to take an unassailable lead. After Keshi Anderson side-footed onto the foot of the post, Woolery was on hand to finish off the rebound for the opener in the eighth minute.
Chris Dagnall flicked a header past the near post as Crewe tried to hit back, but his side were let down by inept defending and Matty Taylor's free-kick was nodded home with ease by Linganzi after 17 minutes.
The pace of Anderson and Woolery was a thorn in Crewe's side and when Perry Ng pressed the panic button to bring the former down in the box, Norris drilled the spot-kick into the corner with just 20 minutes gone.
Had Crewe keeper Ben Garratt not got off his line quickly at Woolery's feet soon after the damage would have been more severe before the break.

Swindon eased off the gas in the second half, but still could have had more goals with Woolery striking the foot of the post after another darting run and Taylor curling a free-kick onto the bar.
Crewe's poor run, with seven defeats in their last nine league games, leaves them three points above the relegation zone.
