Nathan Dyer has signalled his intention to finish his career with Swansea after returning to the club to sign a new four-year deal.
Winger Dyer was loaned to Leicester City last season and made 12 Premier League appearances - all as a substitute - in their remarkable title win.
His move there came after he had fallen out of favour under old boss Garry Monk following the arrivals of Andre Ayew and Jefferson Montero.
The 28-year-old is now back with his parent side and, after committing to the club until June 2020, is looking forward to a bright future under Francesco Guidolin.
Dyer told Swansea's official website: "I was on loan last season and I had a good year at Leicester - the experience I had was unbelievable.
"But I'm happy to be back here at the club that first gave me the opportunity to show what I can do.
"Coming back, there was only one thought in my mind - impress the new manager, speak to the chairman, get into the team and play games.
"I was going into the final year of my contract, so it was nice to sign a new deal. The new deal will keep me here until I finish. I have always seen myself being here. Once a Jack, always a Jack!"
Dyer has been with Swansea since initially going there on loan from Southampton in January 2009 and made the switch permanent the following summer.
A scorer of 31 goals in 271 games for the club, he has helped them rise up to the Premier League and won a League Cup with the Welsh outfit.
Dyer added: "We've made history at this club, and to be part of that has been amazing for me. It has been an amazing road, but hopefully that will continue.
"I came back this summer having to show the manager what I am capable of as we hadn't worked together.
"It was nice to get together, speak to him and show him what I can do. He was impressed and wanted me to stay. Now we can all look forward to the season together."
