Goalkeeper links up with Stockport on three-month deal
Blackpool have allowed goalkeeper Mark Halstead to link up with Stockport on a three-month loan deal.
Halstead, 21, has made just one full appearance this season, when helping the Seasiders overcome Sheffield Wednesday in a Carling Cup penalty shoot-out in August.
He has now been given the opportunity by Blackpool manager Ian Holloway to get some more games under his belt with Stockport in the Blue Square Bet Premier.
Blackpool said in a statement: "Mark is hopeful of gaining some much-needed first-team action at Edgeley Park.
"He has found opportunities here limited with the experienced duo of Matt Gilks and Mark Howard ahead of him in the pecking order.
"The Seasiders have a 28-day recall on Mark who will go straight into the Stockport squad for Saturday's trip to Ebbsfleet United."
