Monday 1 February 2016 20:16, UK
Young Brighton midfielder Charlie Harris has joined Barnsley on an 18-month deal.
The 20-year-old has signed for the Sky Bet League 1 club for an undisclosed fee having failed to make a competitive first-team appearance for the Seagulls.
"I'm happy to finally sign and I'm looking ahead to my new career," Harris, who scored once in four appearances during a loan spell with Aldershot earlier this season, told barnsleyfc.co.uk.
"I have a few roots here so it's nice to be up north and in South Yorkshire.
"I'm a box-to-box midfielder and want to help create and score goals. I just can't wait to get on the training field and show the coaching staff what I'm about."
