Christian Fuchs says Leicester have their "spark" back and that he is enjoying playing under Craig Shakespeare.
Having replaced Claudio Ranieri in February, Shakespeare appears to have revitalised the squad with six wins from six matches.
Fuchs talked to Tubes on Soccer AM about what Shakespeare has changed and whether he wants him to stay on beyond the end of the season.
"It feels good. The spark is there, the fire is there," he said.
"The set-up is almost the same, it's just all this criticism that came down to us when Claudio was sacked we used to fire us up.
"Craig was our coach before, he was leading training most of the time. He was the main guy who did the training. He always has an open ear, knows how to handle people, and I think that's one of his major qualities.
"I like working with him, but it was the decision of the owners to sack Claudio and it will be their decision with Craig.
"He is doing a great job and we enjoy playing with him. Let's see what is decided. Personally I love working with him. He has been a great manager and great coach and nice person to talk to."
Asked whether he felt the players had let Ranieri down, Fuchs added: "I always try to give everything. Sometimes things don't work out, the thing in football is the next week, it can be really different."
