Wes Morgan wants Leicester City to write their own legacy this season ahead of the Foxes' return to Premier League action.

After spending much of last season fighting relegation, Leicester are now top of the league, two points clear of Tottenham with 12 games remaining.

Claudio Ranieri's can further cement their lead on Saturday when they host Norwich - having losing 2-1 at Arsenal two weeks ago - and Morgan hopes the squad can put their names into the history books.

"I'm sure the media will be comparing us to great achievements of teams that have been in a position like ours - we're not listening to that too much," he said.

"It's been a great season so far and at the start of the season everyone's focus was avoiding relegation - I think we've surpassed that.
