QPR chairman insists Loftus Road club have 'done everything right'

QPR chairman Gianni Paladini has vowed to 'fight all the way' against Football Association charges of breaching third-party ownership rules. A four-man FA panel will meet on Tuesday before delivering their verdict on Friday over seven charges relating to the Rs' registration of Argentine midfielder Alejandro Faurlin. Neil Warnock's side clinched promotion to the Premier League on Saturday but the full celebrations remain on hold amid concerns that they could be docked points. The Loftus Road club have been transformed by the investment of Bernie Ecclestone, Lakshmi Mittal and Flavio Briatore and Paladini insists they are ready to make their mark in the top flight.

Justice

Paladini said: "We will fight all the way and justice will be done. We have not tried to cheat anybody. "We have done everything in good faith. We have done everything right. "This is the most unbelievable time of my life. We have worked so hard to get this far and get investors like Flavio, Bernie and Mittal. "It's been a great story. It's great for the fans who have had to put up with s*** for so many years. "I can't wait for next season. We are not going there for half an hour. We will be a force and stay up."
Can of worms
Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers has hit out at the timing of the FA heading, with their verdict due the day before the Championship season draws to a close. The Swans are assured of a place in the end of season play-offs, but Rodgers feels the whole saga involving QPR should have been cleared up long before this stage. He said: "Why's it been left so long? Surely there's a sanction in place when the rule is broken. If there's not you are looking to whoever is meant to be organising. "It seems strange we are not going to get the answer until the day before the last day of the season. It's ridiculous it went on so long. "There are all sorts of ramifications. They've opened up a can of worms over something they should have dealt with a while ago."
