QPR vs Nottingham Forest preview
Thursday 25 April 2019 18:42, UK
QPR will check on defender Joel Lynch ahead of the visit of Nottingham Forest.
Lynch is being assessed on a hamstring problem which forced him to sit out the dramatic stoppage-time defeat at Derby on Easter Monday. Defender Toni Leistner could return following illness, while left-back Jake Bidwell (thigh) will also be monitored. Centre-back Grant Hall (groin) and Angel Rangel (calf) are also doubts.
Midfielder Jordan Cousins is recovering from ankle ligament damage suffered in an accidental collision with team-mate Bright Osayi-Samuel during the defeat by Blackburn on Good Friday.
Nottingham Forest must again do without suspended duo Yohan Benalouane and Jack Colback. Defender Benalouane will serve out a two-match ban, so is not available for the trip to Loftus Road.
Midfielder Colback, meanwhile, was suspended for the final three games after collecting a 15th yellow card of the season in the defeat at Bramall Lane. Full-back Tendayi Darikwa continues to be assessed on a hamstring problem which has sidelined him since the end of March.
