Coventry City striker Clive Platt has shrugged off the loss of key players this summer and is confident of having a positive Championship campaign.
The Sky Blues will have to make do without their top scorer and player of the year from last season after Marlon King and Kieran Westwood's summer exits to Birmingham and Sunderland respectively.
However, Platt, who was also linked with a summer move away from the Ricoh Arena, has told
skysports.com that confidence remains high going into the new season.

"We've brought in a couple of new keepers and a few young lads as well, but I'm sure that the gaffer is still looking to bring one or two more in," explained Platt.
"I believe that we have got a good squad here already though, and you are always going to lose one or two players at certain times and it is all about keeping the core of the squad together.
"Kieran is a really good keeper and a down-to-earth guy that we will no doubt be weaker without, but these things happen in football.
"If you have got a player that is consistently playing well each year then he is bound to move on to bigger and better things, so everyone here wishes him well in the future.
"He was a great keeper for us last year, but we've got a few new ones in place and it is up to them to step up to the mantle, which I'm sure they will do.
"You always want to keep your key players at the club, but these things happen when players are doing well and I'm sure that the squad we have here are capable of doing well next season."
