On-loan Burnley centre-back Kevin Long has extended his loan stay with Rochdale until the end of April.
The 21-year-old Irish defender joined on an initial month-long loan in January but will now stay for the maximum 93-day period, making him available to play in all bar one of Dale's remaining games. Long has been part of a defensive line that has kept two clean sheets during a run of two wins and a draw in four matches to move the Spotland outfit off the foot of League One He spent the first half of the season on loan at Accrington under the watch of new Rochdale boss John Coleman.
