Jack Cork has praised the influence of Burnley’s new signings and is confident they will provide the boost needed to overcome the dip in form which has seen them go 10 matches without a win in all competitions.
Burnley recruited Aaron Lennon and Georges-Kevin N'Koudou from Everton and Tottenham in the January transfer window respectively with Lennon involved in the Clarets' 1-1 draw with league leaders Manchester City last weekend.
Cork, an ever-present in the league this term, admitted the new arrivals at Turf Moor would provide a "different dimension" as they seek to enjoy a strong end to the campaign.
"They have been great so far," Cork told Sky Sports News about the new arrivals.
"They are something completely different to what we have had before. You can tell the pace and liveliness of them when they have been on the pitch.
"They have done brilliant for us. It just gives us a different dimension for us to use.
"Sometimes it is nice to have a little change and something new and to keep everyone on their toes, to give everyone a boost to know we have still got a lot of work until the end of the season."
Sean Dyche's side travel to in-form Swansea, unbeaten in their last eight fixtures under Carlos Carvalhal, on Saturday and Cork is familiar with the Swans' ability to turn around a slow start to avoid relegation from the top-flight.
Cork, who rejoined Burnley last summer after a two-and-a-half year stint at the Liberty Stadium, also referenced the influence the home crowd can have when Swansea build up some momentum.
He said: "Every season for the last three years it seems to be the same. They have had a bad start and they have managed to change something and had a great second half of the season.
"Personally knowing that in the second half of the season how the crowd can get [fired up] when they do start to pick up results and sense that they may have a chance of doing a lot better than in the first half it can be a big atmosphere when they get behind you.
"It is going to be a tough game for us to go down there and try and get the win."
