Yohan Cabaye says Crystal Palace have the quality to beat Arsenal on Monday Night Football but admits they must show the "right mentality".
Palace's four-match winning run ended with a 3-1 defeat at Southampton on Wednesday, leaving them three points above the relegation zone.
But Cabaye believes their 2-1 victory over league leaders Chelsea last weekend will give Palace the belief required to get a positive result when Arsenal visit Selhurst Park.
"It's very important and a very big game," Cabaye told Sky Sports News HQ. "We are still in this bad position so we need to stay focused on our target and to have the right mentality to get points.
"We need to show them it's going to be tough for them to get something from the game, especially at Selhurst.
"Apart from yesterday when the result wasn't good, we are in good form and in good shape, mentally and physically.
"We need to play with big confidence to come onto the pitch and just think we can win the game. I'm confident because we have quality in the team.
"We work hard, really hard to be better on the pitch, individually and as a team. The game [against Chelsea] was tough. We defended really well and we were clinical also.
"That match has to give us the confidence to play the big teams. The game [against Arsenal] will be different but we have the quality to play well and get the win."
Cabaye, who will miss the Arsenal match due to a calf injury, admits his form this season has been mixed.
When asked how he would assess his campaign so far, he said: "The same as the team. Sometimes good, sometimes bad.
"I had some injuries and then collectively the team wasn't really good so it's hard to be apart from that.
"I just want to be more clinical with key passes, with goals and assists. I try and I work hard and I know myself what I can do. I will help the team to be better and to be in good shape to win games.
"The team is the most important. We have shown that when we play as a team and as a unit, we are difficult to play against and we can get points."
