Sheffield Wednesday manager Steve Bruce says the club are dreaming of reaching the Championship play-offs this season.
Wednesday are unbeaten since Bruce took charge, winning three of their six matches in February.
It has left them six points off the play-offs in 12th place but Bruce has not given up hope with the Steel City Derby approaching on Monday, live on Sky Sports.
Bruce said: "You can never give up that dream [of reaching the play-offs]. It's going to take an almighty effort but you can't give up that hope. Can we win five or six from the next eight and give ourselves a chance? Who knows."
Bruce will be coming up against former club Sheffield United in his first Sheffield derby as manager of the blue side of the city.
He started his managerial career with the Blades after ending his playing days there and is looking forward to the occasion.
Bruce added: "I believe it [Hillsborough] will be rocking. I am looking forward to it immensely. They've taught me, the boys here who have experiences it before, that a full Hillsborough is a wonderful experience.
"I am looking forward to it. That's what we are in football for. For big games like this and big occasions."
The former Manchester United defender says he has been keeping an eye on the goings on at his former club.
Manchester United have won nine of their last 11 league matches since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took charge.
They are in the race for the top four, still in the last 16 of the Champions League and are into the quarter-finals of the FA Cup.
Bruce said: "I loved his interview when he said we are Manchester United and we have a good squad of players. There was a young kid making his debut at 17 on Wednesday night.
"He has done fantastically well. I am delighted for him and what a turn around that has been. It's been quite remarkable. I hope for Ole's sake long make it continue."
Sheffield Wednesday take on city rivals Sheffield United live on Sky Sports Football on Monday March 4 from 7pm.
