Middlesbrough striker Jordan Rhodes has signed for Sheffield Wednesday in a deal worth around £10m, according to Sky sources.
The 26-year-old Rhodes has been surplus to requirements at the Riverside after they signed strikers Rudy Gestede and Patrick Bamford.
A number of Championship clubs have been interested in Rhodes including Fulham and Aston Villa, but had been reluctant to meet his valuation of at least £9m.
Boro also allowed his former strike partner David Nugent to leave Teesside earlier this month - he joined Derby County.
Scotland international Rhodes has only made six appearances this season but scored five goals as Boro were promoted the Premier League last year, having joined from Blackburn a year ago.
