Southampton not considering Walter Zenga as replacement for Ronald Koeman

Southampton have not made a move for ex-Italy goalkeeper Walter Zenga as they look to replace Ronald Koeman as manager, Sky sources understand.
Koeman's departure for Everton left Saints in need of a new man at the helm and Frank de Boer and Eddie Howe lead bookmakers' lists for the role at St Mary's.
But it was reported on Monday in some newspapers that owner Katherine Liebherr had given the green light for the approach to Zenga.
However, it is understood that this is not the case and the reports should be taken with a pinch of salt.
Zenga picked up 58 caps for Italy between 1987 and 1992, but his managerial career has not been quite so successful.
The 56-year-old has had 15 jobs in the USA, Italy, Romania, Serbia, Turkey, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
