Disappointment at collapse of Sunderland move
Dorin Goian is still hopeful he can secure a move to England, his representative has confirmed.
The Romania international has seen a move to Sunderland fall through after they failed to agree terms with his club Steaua Bucharest.
There are still a number of clubs looking at the 27-year-old, who impressed at Euro 2008, and his English agent Peter Harrison is confident a deal can be struck.
Harrison admits the player was saddened to see his proposed move to the Stadium of Light fail to materialise.
Disappointment
"It was disappointing for Dorin that the deal with Sunderland fell through," Harrison told

"But we are still talking to a number of interested clubs.
"We are very hopeful he will still be moving to England and we hope something can be concluded in the next week or so."
