Veteran forward Jason Euell has returned to Charlton following his loan spell with AFC Wimbledon.

The 35-year-old returns to The Valley after making eight appearances during a two-month spell where the Dons have moved nine points clear of the npower League Two relegation zone. "I would like to thank Jason," said Dons manager Terry Brown on his club's official website. "He has come in and worked hard. "The plan was always for him to come here and then go and celebrate Charlton winning League One. Hopefully, he will go back and have a successful period there as he has done well for us." Euell's contract with Charlton expires in the summer and the player refused to rule out a possible return to the Kingsmeadow Stadium. He said: "There is no reason why I would not want to come back here. I love the club and the fans, but I have to wait and see what happens with Charlton in the summer."
