Sheffield United caretaker manager Chris Morgan has vowed to "finish the job" and lead his side to League One promotion.

The 35-year-old is in temporary charge of the Blades following the surprise sacking of Danny Wilson last month and leads them into a two-legged play-off semi-final with Yeovil. It has been a turbulent year for United, who were beaten in last season's play-off final at Wembley, and Morgan believes it will be a job well done if his troops can return to the second tier. "It would be a massive achievement for me, it is what we have worked for," Morgan said. "We worked hard over the past two seasons to achieve promotion. That has been the goal. "The lads have reacted fantastically this season. You see team's drift away after losing a play-off final, we have come back and been at the top end of the division all season. "We have lost vital players and had things cut back but we have kept going and that is credit to everybody connected with the club. "We deserve a play-off place and are going to give it everything we have got to finish the job."
