Skysports.com understands Manchester United have agreed to let Tom Cleverley stay on loan at Wigan until the end of the season. Cleverley's initial loan deal at the DW Stadium expired earlier this month after he joined Wigan last August. The highly-rated midfielder was expected to stay at United as Sir Alex Ferguson was keen to have him in his squad for the second half of the campaign. However, the United boss has now had a rethink and decided to let Wigan chief Roberto Martinez keep Cleverley for the rest of the season so that he can get regular action under his belt. The England Under 21 international, who is currently recovering from injury, has impressed at Wigan, scoring three goals in 13 Premier League appearances for the Latics.
