Fulham striker Cauley Woodrow will undergo surgery on a fractured metatarsal and will be out for at least two months.
The 21-year-old suffered the injury in the FA Cup defeat at Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday and was substituted after 25 minutes at Hillsborough.
Woodrow underwent an immediate scan that determined a fracture to the fifth metatarsal in his left foot.
And a Fulham statement on Sunday confirmed: "Cauley Woodrow is set to be sidelined for the next 10 to 12 weeks.
"Following an injury sustained in the Emirates FA Cup Third Round tie against Sheffield Wednesday, the club's medical staff have revealed that an x-ray confirmed a fracture to the fifth metatarsal.
"After specialist assessment, it has been decided that Cauley will undergo surgical repair on Monday and a 10 to 12-week period of recovery is expected."
Woodrow has struggled to nail down a first-team place ahead of the free-scoring Ross McCormack and Moussa Dembele this season, and has made just one Championship start.
But he has made 11 more league appearances off the bench and scored four goals, including an excellent brace in the recent 4-1 win over Rotherham.
