On-loan Roma man could stay at Etihad Stadium permanently

David Pizarro's agent believes there would be little difficulty in Manchester City agreeing a deal with Roma to sign the midfielder permanently. The 32-year-old Chile international ace moved to the Etihad Stadium on loan for the remainder of the season before the January transfer window closed. The former Inter Milan and Udinese man has made a positive impression at Eastlands and he started his first Premier League game in Saturday's 2-0 win over lowly Bolton. Pizarro's agent Giuseppe Bozzo insists his client is giving his all to impress manager Roberto Mancini while he is also delighted myths over his fitness have been dispelled.

Contribution

"It's very satisfying, even to respond to all the evil things which were said about his physical condition," Bozzo told tuttomercatoweb. "He is contributing greatly to City in an attempt to satisfy Mancini, who strongly wanted him. "His future? City have no right to buy him, however, if we sat down at a table I think we could easily find a solution. "I can confirm Palermo's interest last summer, but Pizarro would only leave Roma for a club at the same or higher level than Roma. "Juventus wanted him (in January) but the rumours and the doubts about him meant he went to England where he is finding space and trust."
