Striker signs for Reggina after leaving City

Bernardo Corradi has joined Reggina after Manchester City confirmed the striker had been released from his contract. The Italian joined City on a three-year deal from Valencia in 2006, but struggled to make an impact in English football. He was sent off on his City bow against Chelsea and scored just three goals in 29 appearances during his debut season. Corradi was loaned out to Parma last term and has now completed a permanent return to Serie A with Reggina. The 32-year-old is understood to have signed a 12-month contract and has linked up with his Reggina team-mates for pre-season training.
