Sun Jihai has revealed he was unaware of the Man City's decision to sign Danny Mills.
Manchester City's Sun Jihai has revealed he was completely unaware of the club's decision to sign fellow right back Danny Mills this summer.The China international has been away playing for his country at the Asian Cup which was staged in his homeland.
Jihai only learned of Mills' arrival after consulting the club's website, but is hoping the England star's arrival will not spell the end of his own first-team opportunities.
" I found out from the website - it was a surprise," the former Crystal Palace man stated.
"Pre-season for Premiership players is important, but I couldn't join in which is a problem.
"But I hope to take any chance to show I can play."
