Mousa Dembele hopes to be fit for Tottenham's next game after having a scan on his ankle injury.
The Belgium midfielder, who has been starting on the right wing for Spurs this season, picked up the knock during Saturday's goalless draw with Everton and had a scan in Brussels on Monday.
That led to him being withdrawn from Belgium's upcoming European Qualifiers against Bosnia and Herzegovina and Cyprus.
But the former Fulham man tweeted on Tuesday afternoon that he is hopeful of being available for Spurs' trip to Sunderland on September 13, live on Sky Sports 1, writing: "Happy. No major injuries, hope to be back for our next Spurs game!"
