U`S TRY AGAIN FOR McVEIGH
The only problem for McFarland is that he is still searching for a centre half and he is wary of using up a loan swoop on Northern Ireland international McVeigh. The player would almost certainly jump at the chance of some first team football, after being transfer-listed at White Hart Lane.
The young striker saw a temporary transfer to the Abbey Stadium collapse when it had seemingly been completed, a short while ago, but the deal could be resurrected.
"I want to keep my options open as, if I bring in McVeigh, I am snookered in terms of the loan situation," said McFarland. "Before the deadline, I may sign, and hopefully will sign, Paul McVeigh and we can have a look at him until the end of the season, as the boy has something."
