Mauricio Pochettino was delighted that his players were so competitive in their 2-0 win over Chelsea, saying they showed great character to defeat the Blues.
Dele Alli struck twice to bring Chelsea's 13-game winning run to an end at White Hart Lane on Wednesday night, lifting Spurs up to third in the Premier League - seven points off the leaders.
"The most important thing is that we were competitive against a team that is in very good form and one of the best teams in Europe," he told Sky Sports after the game. "For that we feel very proud because the performance was very solid.
"For me the most pleasing thing is we showed big character and were competitive against a team fighting for big things."
Despite the big win, Pochettino says he'll congratulate his players but then move on quickly to his plans for the next game.
