Mousa Dembele says he has been relishing the opportunity to be a more "dangerous" player this season as he continues in an advanced role for Tottenham.
The Belgium international has been in fine form playing further forward in recent weeks as Tottenham have gone unbeaten since the opening day of the season and now sit five points behind joint Premier League leaders Arsenal and Manchester City.
Dembele, who has joined up with Belgium ahead of friendlies against Italy and Spain, has been deployed in a variety of midfield roles for his club and country and says confidence is high at White Hart Lane.
"We are in a very good situation at Tottenham," he told Sky Sports News HQ. "We feel very fit, we feel very good.
"The team is playing well. It is easy to come into a team like that with the confidence, it is something positive.

"There are a lot positions I like to play, maybe that diversity is something positive as well. At the moment I am playing more in the attacking way and when I play in the more attacking way I can be more dangerous.
"That's a different style; if I play more defensive then other things need to be important, so it is very different."
His Spurs and Belgium team-mate Jan Vertonghen trained alone after picking up a knock against Arsenal on Sunday, while Dembele left the training session early with a calf problem also sustained in the north London derby.
But he said: "I received a kick over the weekend, it is not that bad but it is just a bit swollen - that's it."
