Trotters striker could be back for Watford clash
David Ngog is targeting a return to action after the international break in Bolton's next Championship outing against Watford.
The French striker has been hampered by injuries throughout the summer and the early part of the 2012/13 campaign.
He has, however, been able to step up his recovery in recent weeks and has joined his team-mates in full training.
Ngog believes another week of fitness work should see him back in Owen Coyle's plans by the time the Trotters play host to the Hornets on 15th September.
Sharpness
"It's been really enjoyable to go back on the pitch. I'm really looking forward to the new season now," he told the club's
official website.
"I've had a back injury which I got when I returned for pre-season. It has kept me out for quite a few weeks but I've worked really well with the physio, staff and chiropractor and now I'm feeling fit.
"With this kind of injury I have had to be careful. Whatever exercise you do, you use your back, whether it be running or any sessions in the gym.
"Now I am back in full training with the first team. I'm getting closer to 100 per cent and getting my touch and sharpness back. If I get a chance to help the team, I will look to take it."
