Bolton vs Norwich preview
Friday 15 February 2019 15:41, UK
Bolton must check on the fitness of Gary O'Neil and Marc Wilson before the visit of promotion contenders Norwich.
O'Neil was replaced at half-time during the morale-boosting 1-0 win at Birmingham on Tuesday with a calf problem, while Wilson felt his hamstring during the match. That saw midfielder Jason Lowe thrust into the back three, though it did not hamper Bolton as they kept their first clean sheet since a goalless draw with Stoke in December.
There was some good news as Sammy Ameobi was able to feature as a substitute following a hip problem while Clayton Donaldson also got a short run-out as he works his way back from a groin injury.
Norwich will be without midfielder Alex Tettey, who picked up an ankle ligament injury during the 3-1 defeat to Preston on Wednesday night. Midfielders Emi Buendia and Marco Stiepermann also sustained muscle injuries at Deepdale, so will be assessed.
Moritz Leitner (calf) and defender Timm Klose (ankle) could both be included in the squad as they step up recovery from injury lay-offs. Midfielder Mario Vrancic has been ruled out for around three weeks with an ankle injury suffered in the East Anglia derby against Ipswich.

Prutton's prediction
What an enormous victory that was for Bolton at Birmingham on Tuesday night, and a rare clean sheet for Phil Parkinson's side to boot!
Norwich came unstuck at Preston in midweek, but they will not be the last side to suffer at Deepdale this season. They should bounce back here.
David Prutton predicts: 0-2 (7/1 with Sky Bet)
