Bolton midfielder Mark Davies has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

Davies sustained the injury during the second half of the 1-1 draw with Charlton at the Valley last weekend.

The 28-year-old has played in six matches this season and helped Phil Parkinson's side open a two-point lead at the top of the Sky Bet League One table.

"We're so disappointed with the news about Mark. He's been terrific since we came in and since the start of pre-season," Parkinson told he club's website.
