Paris Saint-Germain to intensify Idrissa Gueye pursuit

PSG have not given up on their efforts to land Idrissa Gueye and are expected to make contact again with Everton in the next few hours.
Sky Sports News have been told PSG remain unwilling to improve their initial offer of £21.5m for the Senegal international.
However, with January's Transfer Window closing at 11pm on Thursday night, the Ligue 1 champions face some tough negotiations ahead, with Everton thought to be holding out for almost double the £21.5m offered on Sunday.
Reports in France suggest PSG are likely to agree to the imminent sale of French youth international Yacine Adli to Bordeaux for around £6m
Despite continued pressure to conform to FFP regulations, Adli's move could, in turn, free up more cash to spend on Gueye, despite PSG strengthening their midfield with the signing of Leandro Paredes on Tuesday.
Sky Sports News understands Arsenal and Manchester City also hold an interest in former Lille midfielder Gueye, who joined Everton from Aston Villa in 2016.
