Wenger in Roa meeting
The 33-year-old Argentinian international has been linked with a move to North London and, although The Gunners have not yet moved for him, Arsene Wenger is said to be very keen.
Alexander Camano, one of Roa's advisors claims that Gunners boss Wenger has already spoken to the keeper over a move to the double-winners.
"He has chatted with Arsene Wenger and the manager is enchanted with him," said Camano.
"It seems that he has more desire than we have in signing him."
Camano says that a one-year deal has already been prepared by Arsenal to take the former Real Mallorca man as cover for England number one David Seaman.
'The Lettuce' as he is known due to his vegetarianism, has not been training much since leaving Mallorca, and would need to get back in the swing of things quickly to get match fit.
Spanish outfit Compostella have also been linked with Roa, and they have also said that they would love to have him on board, but could not even begin to afford the wages of the former Argentine number one.
With all other Spanish options now closed to Roa, his only chance to save his career could be in a move to The Premiership with Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Spanish side Espanyol could be set to send keeper Alex Manninger back to Highbury.
The Austrian shot-stopper has failed to settle in Barcelona and club director Jose Luis Marco says that his mind is not on his football.
Marco says that Manninger's lack of Spanish, his timid nature, and his worries about his family following recently flooding have all combined to make him uncomfortable at the club.
