Albero Aquilani's agent has quashed rumours suggesting his client could be on his way back to Roma. The midfielder only left the Serie A club for Liverpool last summer, completing a big-money move to England. His debut season at Anfield did not go entirely to plan, with niggling injuries hindering his progress. However, Aquilani remains determined to make his mark in the Premier League and hopes a fresh start under new Reds boss Roy Hodgson will allow him to flourish. As a result, he has no intention of moving on and his representative has been quick to play down reports of an imminent return to Italy. Franco Zavaglia told calcionews24.com: "Is Aquilani going to be returning to Roma? I completely rule that out. That is not true at all, this is just paper talk."
