Simon Mignolet says Liverpool can bounce back quickly after heavy defeat to Man City

Simon Mignolet is pleased Liverpool have an opportunity to bounce back quickly from their heavy defeat to Manchester City when they return to Champions League action on Wednesday.
The Reds suffered a humiliating 5-0 defeat at the Etihad on Saturday after Sadio Mane was shown a red card for a dangerous tackle on City goalkeeper Ederson shortly before half-time.
Jurgen Klopp's side have little time to dwell on that defeat as they host Sevilla on Wednesday in their opening match of the Champions League group stage.
Mignolet insists spirits in the Liverpool camp are high ahead of the match, despite their heavy defeat at the weekend.
"We have to take the first 20 minutes and how we played before the international break and take it into the next game," said the Belgium international.

"Of course we can't neglect the performance after that - we have to keep it in mind - but we have another game midweek when we can prove ourselves again.
"That's probably a good thing, the game comes early and we can put things right, change it again."
Mane is expected to start against Sevilla after receiving a mandatory three-match domestic ban for his straight red card at the Etihad.
The Senegal international posted an apology to Ederson on social media after the defeat at the weekend but Mignolet insists there was no malicious intent in the winger's challenge on the Brazil goalkeeper.
"I've had it before when you have to jump into people's feet - and you have to be brave. It's always dangerous," he said.
"You can't really think about what might happen. He just thought about the ball and went for it. He didn't see what was coming just after it.
"Sometimes these things can happen. Hopefully it won't happen too often and you don't want it to create difficulties for anybody. You just hope everything goes well [for Ederson] and it sounds like it has."
