Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is not looking to sign a new goalkeeper.
The Reds have been linked with a move for Standard Liege goalkeeper Guillaume Hubert in several national newspapers.
But Klopp will stand by Simon Mignolet, who has been the target of criticism from former Liverpool 'keeper Bruce Grobbelaar.
"I am absolutely satisfied with the goalkeeping situation," said Klopp. "Sorry to kill your stories. We're not looking for a goalkeeper.
"Simon Mignolet - I have had a lot of goalkeepers in the last few years and he is one of the smartest I've ever had. He is completely open. He's young enough to develop, to improve.
"He had not the most easy situation before I came here but since I am here there is nothing to criticise, absolutely nothing. He is a good football player. Everything is okay.
"Everyone is watching for a second Manuel Neuer or things like this but he is on a really good way. The goalkeeper situation until now is a comfortable one and I hope it stays like this."
Klopp has hinted that Adam Bogdan could come into the team to play Southampton in the Capital One Cup quarter-final on Wednesday but the manager is yet to make a firm decision.
"I haven't spoken to [goalkeeping coach] John Achterberg about it yet," he said. "Adam could play but we will decide later."
Midfielder Philippe Coutinho could return to the squad after a two-week absence with a hamstring injury, while striker Daniel Sturridge and midfielder Jordan Henderson, who made substitute appearances in the Premier League win over Swansea on Sunday, may get some more game time.
"Coutinho could be close, but we need to check and double check the situation," he said. "At this moment I can't say which team I will play because the last game was only two days ago.
"Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge will be in the squad. We have these two options but we can't ignore that there could be extra-time and that perhaps 120 minutes would be too much for them."
