Chelsea winger Marko Marin has joined Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan.

Marin has moved to the Super Lig side on a season-long loan, with an option to purchase him a permanent deal. 

The Germany international winger joined Chelsea from Werder Bremen in 2012 on a five-year deal, but made just 15 first-team appearances in league and cup games, scoring a solitary goal.

Marin went on loan to Spanish side Sevilla in 2013, and had further loan spells at Italian club Fiorentina and Dutch side Anderlecht.

The 26-year-old was born in Bosnia-Herzegovina, but his family moved to Germany when he was two and he has played 16 times for Germany.
