Cech upset with Hunt

Petr Cech is disappointed at Stephen Hunt's failure to make contact with him.

Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech has revealed his disappointment at Stephen Hunt's failure to make contact with him following the serious injury he sustained three months ago.

Cech suffered a fractured skull after a collision with Hunt during Chelsea's 1-0 win at Reading in October.

Hunt was heavily criticised by Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho following the game for his part in the injury.

Cech, who is in line to make his long-awaited return to action this weekend against Liverpool, admits he is surprised Hunt did not try and make contact with him about the incident.

"I was disappointed to see Stephen Hunt talked a lot about me in the press, while he never called me," Cech told the Sun."That wasn't so difficult to do.

"He didn't write to me. In October, I had a letter of apology from Reading Football Club, with his signature on it - nothing more."

Cech also admits he is still unsure of Hunt's thoughts when they collided.

"I was disappointed [not to hear from Hunt] - but I told myself it must be difficult for him also to live with it," added Cech.

"I don't know if he did it on purpose - and I am not interested in knowing."
