Chelsea's Eden Hazard wins three end-of-season awards

Eden Hazard has made history with a clean sweep of accolades at Chelsea’s end-of-season awards night.

Hazard was voted by supporters as Chelsea's Player of the Year for the fourth time in his career, while the Belgium international also scooped the Players' Player of the Year accolade.

The 28-year-old made it an unprecedented hat-trick of awards by landing the Goal of the Season award for his magnificent solo effort in Chelsea's 2-1 Carabao Cup win over Liverpool at Anfield last September.

Hazard, who scored the winning penalty in Thursday night's shootout to secure Chelsea's place in the Europa League final, has enjoyed another stellar season with the Blues, scoring 19 goals and providing 16 assists.

"My relationship with the fans has been really good since I came here," Hazard said after picking up the Player of the Year award from head coach Maurizio Sarri and assistant manager Gianfranco Zola.

'It's always a pleasure to play at Stamford Bridge in front of the fans. That's why I am on the pitch.

"When we play for such a great club like Chelsea - at the end of the season you want to win something. Now we have that opportunity. We will go to Baku [for the Europa League final] all together with the fans and we will be back with the trophy."

Scotland Women's international Erin Cuthbert won the Women's Player of the Year. Wales international Sophie Ingle picked up the Women's Players' Player of the Year award.
