Phil Jones and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in Manchester United squad
Wednesday 2 November 2016 15:24, UK
Phil Jones and Henrikh Mkhitaryan are part of the Manchester United squad heading to Turkey for Thursday's Europa League clash with Fenerbahce.
But Chris Smalling, Michael Carrick and Memphis Depay will miss the match in Istanbul as United continue their Group A campaign on Thursday evening.
Anthony Martial, Tim Fosu-Mensah and Mkhitaryan have been included by Jose Mourinho after missing recent squads, while Jones returns to the group 10 months after his last competitive appearance.
The 24-year-old has recovered from a knee injury but fellow defender Smalling, who has been suffering with a foot complaint, has remained in Manchester, as have the injured Antonio Valencia and Eric Bailly.
Carrick and Depay have also stayed in the north west and the reasoning behind Mourinho's squad selection should become clear at Wednesday's pre-match press conference.
