It is the penultimate weekend in the Premier League and there are six live games for you over four days - with a thrilling title race edging to its conclusion.

Liverpool travel to in-form Newcastle on Saturday night, before Man City face resurgent Leicester at the Etihad on Monday. Just one point separates the title chasers - with only two games remaining.

This is first time in the Premier League that two teams have won more than 90 points in a single season - and only the second time in the entire history of England's top division.

Manchester City edge the tale of the tape in terms of goals scored and wins, while Liverpool have conceded fewer goals and lost fewer games.

Liverpool have won seven points with goals in the final 10 minutes of games, while their rivals have won none.

Late wins against Tottenham and Southampton in recent weeks have given Jurgen Klopp's side a real chance of ending their 29-year title drought.

Alisson's arrival at Anfield has ended the goalkeeping problems that had haunted Liverpool since Klopp took over as manager in 2015.

In 36 Premier League games this season, the Brazilian international has kept 20 clean sheets and conceded only 20 goals.

Alisson has actually kept the most clean sheets in Europe's top five Leagues - along with Jan Oblak this term - and one ahead of City's Ederson.

In his debut season, Alisson also becomes only the fifth stopper in Premier League history to keep 20 or more clean sheets in a single campaign - behind only Petr Cech on 24 and Edwin Van Der Sar on 21.

Meanwhile, Newcastle manager Rafa Benitez comes up against his old club on Saturday evening at St James' Park.

The Spaniard gave Liverpool their greatest night since they last won the title when he was in charge of their thrilling 2005 Champions League final win over AC Milan - the Miracle of Istanbul.

Newcastle have taken 17 points from their last 10 games, moving them away from relegation trouble and into mid-table safety - only four teams have taken more points in that time.

Benitez is yet to taste victory in five Premier League games as a manager against Liverpool since leaving Anfield.

His only meeting with Liverpool at St James Park was in 2017 and ended in a 1-1 draw. A similar result on Saturday may well end his former club's chances of winning their first Premier League title.

Man City v Leicester

Live MNF

Manchester City's attacking talents normally take the plaudits, but their defensive play has proved crucial recently in their quest for successive Premier League crowns.

Pep Guardiola's men have registered four 1-0 wins in their last nine Premier League outings, having achieved only one 1-0 win in their opening 27 games this campaign.

Ederson and his back four have kept 19 clean sheets in the top flight this season, with nine of those coming in their last 11 games.

Since the start of February, City have kept more clean sheets than any other Premier League team, while the only team in Europe's top five leagues to match that tally are the defensive rocks of Atletico Madrid.

One player City will have to stop on Monday evening will be Leicester's Jamie Vardy. The Foxes forward has rediscovered his mojo under Brendan Rodgers after struggling to convince under former boss Claude Puel.

Vardy found the net twice against Arsenal last weekend, which extended his tally to 31 goals against 'big six' teams - more than any other Premier League player since he made his debut in the top division five years ago.

The 32-year-old has already scored more top-flight goals under Rodgers than under Puel this season.

In eight appearances under his new manager, Vardy has found the back of the net nine times - from only 13 shots on target. That goal haul is one more than he achieved in 23 appearances under Puel.

He is also averaging a goal every 79 minutes under Rodgers, which is 140 minutes quicker than playing under his former manager
