Man City's coronation as champions, Pellegrini's genius and a review of the Premier League season.
Sky Sports touchline reporter Geoff Shreeves hosts this week's Football Podcast and is joined by Sky Sports Football experts Niall Quinn and Graeme Souness as they review the Premier League's final day and the season on a whole. CLASSY CITY DESERVED WINNERS The trio debate Man City's second title in three years, with Souness especially complimentary about the way boss Manuel Pellegrini has knitted together the 'big egos' in their squad and how his overall conduct this season has been "head and shoulders" above his rivals. Souness is less than complimentary about Liverpool leaky defence and feels that will be their key area to make improvements if they're to go one better next term. Quinn, however, gives the Reds enornmous credit and celebrates the excitement they've brought to the title race this year. SAME OLD, SAME OLD FOR ARSENAL Quinn feels early pacesetters Arsenal can consider themselves unlucky this season, and believes they'd have pushed City closer had one key man stayed free from injury for longer. Souness also explains why he feels they're "inches away" from a trophy-laden era and why it's imperative that Arsene Wenger stays in charge. UNITED'S FALL FROM GRACE Quinn has some harsh words for Manchester United, saying David Moyes tried to change too much, too soon, and the players never bought into his ethos. Souness explains why United's fall from grace is so alarming that he thinks they're four decent transfer windows from a return to pushing for a top-four slot. BEST OF THE REST Quinn has plenty of praise for Everton's brand of football, while hear what they have to say about the progression of Southampton, Sunderland's escape, the trio that went down and the reasons why the 2013-14 Premier League season has been such a stellar campaign.
